I don't need to know individual teams just a and b from which districts. It will be at Thomas Whittam School (Barden) with 9 0clock check in and start ASAP finishing around 12 though obviously teams can leave once knocked out. It will be league format the KO for qualifiers Rules: Teams are up to 6 players one of whom is the goalkeeper. Goalkeepers MUST remain within the area, the goal keeper must roll the ball out at all times. All free-kicks are direct, the defending team must remain a distance of 2 metres away. Only the goalkeeper is allowed within the area. penalty to opposition if defenders in the area. The ball must remain below head height. No sliding tackles are allowed. Cubs MUST be 10.5 or under on the day of competition The competition will initially be on a league basis then Q/F, Semi-Final, Final. If penalty shoot-outs are required, they will be on a sudden death basis, but time permitting the organisers will endeavour to reach a result without penalty shoot-outs. ( I.e. play extra time) There are 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. Tie-breakers will be as follows. 1) Goal Difference, 2) Goals Scored, 3)Goals conceded, 4) The result of the match the teams have played previously 5) A play-off game or penalties. 6) Drawing lots. The number of qualifiers from each league will be a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 depending on the number of teams entered. The Q/F will be seeded on the basis of league placing. A player receiving a yellow card will be suspended for one game, a red card will mean suspension for the tournament. White Water Safety & Rescue Training

This two day training course offers participants the chance to explore many different techniques in dealing with rescue situations on moving water. Based in the Lake District we will spend time at different locations covering all aspects of the syllabus including: appropriate equipment, core principles of a rescue, specific rescue techniques, boat based rescues, scenario’s.

This course is highly recommended for people working in the moving water environment such a ghyll scrambling and is a pre-requisite for the BCU 4 star inland leaders award.

Places still available on our Bushcraft course, being run by specialists from  Tamarack this course offers training in many areas of bushcraft and survival skills. This is a two day/ two night course is based at Bowley Outdoor Education Centre, using tented accommodation. The aim of this course is to provide training to outdoor practitioners on the use of survival skills with groups, with sessions including, lighting fires using traditional methods, shelter building options and designs, using knives with groups.

All participants will be awarded a certificate of competence in the areas covered by the course.
