Olive Scouts Invested in Investiture Ceremony.

Sunday 2nd April 2017, saw the investiture ceremony for Blackburn scouts newest group, Olive Scout Group. Members of the district team along with our District Commissioner all attended to enroll over 50 young people and adults into the world wide family of scouting.   Check out the photographs from their first month as well as the investiture ceremony below.

This year our St George’s Day parade is on 23rd April 2017. Meet at the Queen Victoria Statue on the Boulevard from 12.45 Parade to move off at 13.30 prompt Arrive at Cathedral at 13.45. Service starts at 14.00. Service lasts approx. 50 minutes. We will have 2 Explorers to carry The Royal Society of St George’s Flag. as well as our District flag (with a Young person & escort) will follow the above into the Cathedral. Group...
