Blackburn District Adventure Learning Team exists to support access for young people accross the District to adventurous activities. Every Scout has the right to adventure and the Adventure Learning Team ensure access in the following ways:
- A register of Leaders qualified to lead adventurous activities in the District.
- Offering training opportunities for leaders and new volunteers.
- Recruitment of new skills instructors from outside the Scout Movement.
- Links to adventure providers to enable Scouts to access to adventure.
The team is open to all who want to pass on and develop their skills, subject to successful completion of a CRB Disclosure.
